Master Sergeant Christopher M. Reid is a native of West Point, Mississippi. He entered the military service in 1992. He attended Basic Training at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Lee, Virginia..

Sergeant Reid has served as a Team Leader, Squad Leader and Section Sergeant with the Mississippi and Alabama National Guard and Section Sergeant with the Alabama State Defense Force. Sergeant Reid is presently the Operations Sergeant for the 4th Infantry Brigade, ASDF.

Sergeant Reid has served both overseas and CONUS. These assignments include: Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri; Fort Lee, Virginia; Camp Shelby, Mississippi; Camp McCain, Mississippi and Annual Training in the Republic of Panama.

Sergeant Reid is a graduate of the NCO Primary Leadership Subjects Course, Military Police Basic NCO Course (AIPD), Military Police Advanced NCO Course (AIPD) and numerous Emergency Management courses. He is an alumnus of Marion Military Institute.

Sergeant Reid's awards and decorations include: Army Reserve Components Achievment Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Reserve Components Overseas Training Ribbon, Army Service Ribbon, Mississippi War Medal and both the Expert and Sharpshooter marksmanship badges.
